The Shania Twain Foundation sponsored 8 students in grade 6 and 7 to participate in the 12 week EAL program at Austin Creek Equine Centre.

Austin Creek has hosted a number of leadership days for the Huntsville High School Specialist High Skills Major group.  This was our inaugural day that has become a yearly event.

Austin Creek was an exhibitor at the 2024 Huntsville Fall Fair.  Debi Austin led a Natural Horsemanship demonstration with her horse, Red, that involved showcasing their skills as a team working at liberty.  Liberty means no lead ropes, using non-verbal communication to perform maneuvers such as trotting a circle, jumping a barrel, and standing on a pedestal.

Participants met our team including Red, and received information about our Equine Assisted Learning programs available at Austin Creek.
